About Tank Trouble 3D

An independent browser game, built for quick matches with friends.

What this site is

Tank Trouble 3D is a free, browser-based multiplayer tank game inspired by the classic maze-shooter formula: small tanks, tight corridors, and shells that ricochet off every wall. Up to four players battle in randomly generated 3D mazes, either in private rooms shared by code or in public open rooms. There is nothing to download or install — the whole game runs in your browser, and a match takes seconds to start.

The game is an independent project, built and maintained by a solo developer. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the creators of any other tank game. New features — power-ups, arena mechanics, profile stats — ship regularly based on what players ask for.

How it works under the hood

For the technically curious, the stack is deliberately simple:

Why the game is free

The site is supported by a small amount of advertising, which covers server and database hosting. There are no paid upgrades, no pay-to-win mechanics, and no loot boxes — every player gets the same tank and the same power-up chances. Details about ads, cookies, and the choices you have are in the privacy policy.

Roadmap

Current areas of active work include additional arena hazards, more power-ups, leaderboards, and mobile touch controls. If you have a feature you want to see, the fastest way to influence the roadmap is simply to ask.
